It's a Saturday morning, and L&D is sending its run of loaded carbon black hoppers to be picked up by the UP local at Schriever later in the day. Chacahoula is at milepost 61.4 of the Sunset Route, and Schriever is at milepost 55. The UP local that will pick up the cars operates out of Avondale Yard, UP's big yard in the New Orleans area.
