Coal smoke belches forth from Union Pacific 4-6-6-4 3985 as she is lubricated prior to the round-trip run to Provo, Utah, on Saturday, June 27, 1982. Numerous fires were started on these trips, prompting the UP to change the Challenger to burn oil.
