The leaves are leaving and the weakening sun flames on the horizon as the oddly numbered westbound freight tops another rise approaching the end of their crew day at Bristol.

The daily northbound turn to Monett, MO is rambling along north of town in the country. We had a great chase all the way to the destination.
A common hangout for me in those days, this was a busy place. This former C&O unit is awaiting work.
Built for L&N the to SBD and now in classic "stealth", if there is such a thing, this is the miscast yard switcher on that day.
