These green boxcars were a common sight for CP trains in the 2000's running across the CP Ontario/Western Canada route. With increased train lengths, and cold temperatures these would recharge the rear portion of the train line. With newer locomotives capable of DPU/locotrol arriving for the next few years, remotes would eventually be placed on 90% of the trains. All off the 900000 series Air Repeater Car's were retired, sold off, and scrapped. These also had rotating amber lights on the roof that are clearly visible.
