Remarks & Notes
There's been a decent run of traffic on this spring morning and BNSF's version of a "short, fast train" comes dropping down the grade off the Arizona Divide behind one of those wild early merger era locomotive consists: a C30-7 B unit and LMX Dash 8- 39Bs spliced by a blue and yellow SD40-2. With the sound of howling dynamic brakes, 61 cars of an eastbound manifest come gliding past 'neath the eternal watch of the San Francisco peaks.
