| It is excellent news that in a line condemned to ostracism there are days like today in which two steel freights arrived to the industrial estate of Aranda de Duero. In addition, this has been the first time that one of these freight (the one in the photo) has departed from the seaport of Santander. A symptom of abandoning the line is the dismantling of the crossing tracks of the stations. The ballast is still preserved and the marks of the sleepers can be seen. Honestly, to see trains in this line is a miracle that few years ago we believed impossible. |
