Remarks & Notes

Nearing sunset on March 5, 2012, sees an eastbound Union Pacific freight crossing the expansive Great Salt Lake basin, approaching Lakeside, Utah. The train is is dwarfed by the vast size of the basin and is passing interestingly-shaped solar evaporative ponds located just west of the Great Salt Lake at this location.
