Remarks & Notes

The first significant snow event of the season is well underway here on Minnesota's Iron Range. U.S. Steel's Minntac plant is still churning out the taconite pellets and the CN crews are still hauling them from the mine to the dock at Two Harbors, MN. CN 5244 is now fully onto the CN Iron Range Sub heading back to Two Harbors with 145 loads in tow.
