Remarks & Notes

Illinois Central 1518 is displayed along the Ohio River floodwall in downtown Paducah, KY. The 2-8-2 was built by Lima in 1923, but like most IC steam power, was extensively modified at IC's Paducah shops during its career. This is one of the best looking displayed steam locomotives I've seen outside of a museum setting.
