Quartet of 40's on the 99
In the not too distant past before the SD60s arrived on the NYSW, scenes like this were the norm with SD40T-2's/SD40-2's hauling the tri-weekly road freight. At the present time the 100/99 is handled almost exclusively by SD60's with local work being handled by the 40's. Also the lead two tunnel motors in this photo, 3012 and 3016 have been rebuilt into SD33-ECOs. |
