The Santa Fe heritage still lives on the rails that were once ruled by blue and yellow locomotives. Darling, roughly fifteen miles east of Flagstaff, still has one of the original style station signs made famous by the ATSF. On a chilly March night, another BNSF train passes the historic sign, as it works towards the summit of the Arizona Divide.
