Remarks & Notes

I happened to catch the move of Metro North's GP-35R 101 (ex-Reading 3641, built 8/1964) northbound on the Hudson Line from the other side of the Hudson River, so I grabbed the scanner. It was on its way to Poughkeepsie, NY to rescue a failed commuter train. This was an especially enticing target since it is one of the few remaining pieces of equipment in the older Metro North "Commuter" Railroad paint scheme. The bridge over Annsville Creek in Peekskill, NY was an ideal location to picture the train with the work diesel on the south end and the P-32DM on the north.
