The night was claim and cold in the small town of Cowan, TN. Which give us a moment to take an advantage of getting a shot of this almost 66 year old GE 44 Tonner N.C&St.L 100 which is on static display at the Cowan Railroad Museum. Also the Museum had acquired a former NC&StL 40ft boxcar from the Tennessee Central Railroad Museum which was at one time doomed to be scarp, gratefully this boxcar was save, and eventually will be cosmetically restored. These two jewels are a fine example of what railroad equipment looking several generation ago, and how railroad equipment had surpass its side size and power.
