The Saturday before Easter, 42 years ago, my father asked the Belen yardmaster if we could take some photos around the diesel service area. A short time later we were thrilled to be in the cab of Santa Fe 5924 as it rolls south to the turntable in Belen. My first cab ride, what a way to spend the day!
