The crew prepares No. 11 for the day's festivities, first by dumping the ash, then taking on a load of coal followed by some attention to the running gear. One final task - shoveling the ash from the track. Then, it's a set of 3 round trips from Holidaysburg, PA to a point south just shy of East Freedom, PA. Note the steam exhaust from the passenger car - they utilize steam from the engine to heat the cars and keep the passengers warm and toasty on blustery cold Winter days like this one, photographed December 19th, 2015.
