Fog is lifting and the sun is finally cutting through the frigid, moisture-laden air in the Heber Valley of Utah at sunrise on February 7, 2007. Disturbing the serenity of the scene, Union Pacific 2-8-0 No. 618 storms past with a freight train operated by the Heber Valley Railroad.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
