Remarks & Notes
On April 27, 2001, after meeting an eastbound coal load at Leyden, Colorado, a westbound coal empty departs on the main line, with the lead Southern Pacific AC4400CW No. 328 doing its best to lay down a good smoke screen in the process. You can still see the rear DPUs of the departing eastbound coal train below the curling smoke a few cars back.
