An empty sand train bound for interchange with the Illinois Railnet at Eola, IL, works thru northern Missouri. The train is seen here passing a Amish Farm few miles outside of La Plata. The Marceline Sub transverses alot of remote countryside between Ft. Madison and Marceline. High speed trains, somewhat rugged mainline, and quite friendly backwoods country, makes this one of my favorite spots for train watching.
