English Electric class 37 loco 37248 was delivered new in 1964,and ran until withdrawn in February 2009.Now preserved,the loco has undergone a complete refurbishment,and has been returned to its original green livery.The loco is seen here in the workshop at Toddington,its paintwork being inspected by a group of visitors,with a volunteer applying a few finishing touches.
