The fuel tracks at Union Pacific’s North Yard in Denver, Colorado, are crowded on February 11, 2001. About 58 locomotives are visible and there is still a lot of variety in paint schemes. There are 15 in Southern Pacific paint, and eight are still in Rio Grande colors, including GP60 No. 3154 and SD40T-2 No. 5371 that will later become the last Rio Grande locomotive on the UP in original paint and numbers. On the right, SW1500 No. Y1150 switches cars in the yard.
