Although Chesapeake & Ohio was headquartered in Cleveland, they had no rails there. However, B&O had a branch into town and provided local service to connect with their east-west mainline that ran through Akron, OH. On this day in August I was pleasantly surprised to find WM6400 in town, one of the few times I had a chance to photograph a "real" WM unit, even though is was already part of Chessie System.
