Remarks & Notes
The 4870 leads a southbound freight by Aberdeen Station at 18 East Bel Air Avenue. The 1943-built station was designed for the Pennsylvania Railroad by architect Lester C. Tichy. Today, this scene is dominated by highway and pedestrian overpasses, built to eliminate the Bel Air Avenue grade crossing. No. 4870 was built by PRR/Westinghouse in December, 1938.
