Remarks & Notes 
The 1223 in freight service, with a covered hopper behind its tender. The 1223 was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad's Juniata Shops in 1905, and operated on the Strasburg Rail Road from 1965 to 1989. It can be viewed today inside the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania at Strasburg.
