Splitting the blades, seen here Phase III Heritage #145 leads Amtrak's Southwest Chief #3 through an active set of semaphore signals. Featured are only two of many in the area, located between Raton and Las Vegas, NM this stretch of the Raton Subdivision is predominantly controlled via these historic signals.
