An early evening thunderstorm drenches a CP coal train rolling west along the Kootenay River near Wardner, BC. This was the last shot of the day on the first day out on a three week railfan adventure across western Canada into the Midwest U.S. Weather improved the next day.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
