One of fifty-nine BL2s produced, the 7172 and a slug are hard at work on a steamy June afternoon. The 7172 was built for the Western Maryland in October, 1948, and originally carried road No. 82. It's preserved today on the Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad in West Virginia.
