Remarks & Notes
Two E44s have three GG1s dead-in-tow at the head of a westbound manifest at the east end of Manor Siding. This photo shows typical infrastructure found at a Pennsy-PC-early CR control point; a concrete relay box (with a CP "MANOR" metal sign in PC font,) a compressed-air tank, and air piping to a track switch. Trains used Manor Siding as a means to pull off the main westbound track, to change crews, etc. The siding is long-gone, no longer needed because of the decreased traffic on this line.
