The third of Amtrak's specially-painted "Salutes Our Veterans" locomotives* brings up the rear of Pacific Surfliner #1761. Accelerating out of the Burbank Airport station, the train is heading to San Luis Obispo, having departed Los Angeles about 30 minutes earlier.
(* - 90208 is not actually a locomotive, but was built as Amtrak F40PH 208. When it because surplus due to newer locomotive deliveries, it was rebuilt into a non-powered cab car with a baggage compartment added to it. 90208 joins the two other Veterans' units: P42DC 42 and ACS-64 642.)
