On November 11th, 2015, Amtrak cab car 90208 re-entered service after a rebuild and repaint in Beech Grove, Indiana. This NPCU is now the 3rd in Amtrak's collection of special Veterans units. Here, it is seen leading train 774 through Ventura, California. When the unit returns to its normal rotation, it will run with the last set of low level cars in Surfliner service on trains 761 (1761), 790 (1790), 565, 572, and 583.
