| Southbound Q128 meets northbound Q192 at Hogansville on the old A&WP during August 2001. I was treated to some wonderful radio chatter as this meet unfolded. One of these guys was a proud new dad and he had some baby pics he was going to hand off to his buddy when they made their meet - handoff seen here. Today this stretch of railroad is CTC, but at the time of this photo it was operated by DTC block authority. Can we call 2001 "the good old days" yet? |
