New River train namesake? After pulling four successful excursions in the 3rd and 4th weekends of October, 26 cars deadhead east on the C&O main to Spencer, N.C. for a series of Oct. 31 & Nov. 1 excursions. Here, the deadhead move passes under the New River Gorge bridge amid fall colors, as seen from the best seat in the house on the rear of Georgia Railroad Dearing business car.
