Remarks & Notes
Peterhof railroad is one of the first railways in Russia. New Peterhof Railway Station station buildings was built in 1855-1857 years by the architect Benois. Overall planning the outside of the station is a smaller copy of the Catholic cathedral of the Italian city of Orvieto, in the restoration of which Benois was involved in 1843. Initially, the railway from St. Petersburg came to an end in the station building, but later, while continuing in the direction of Oranienbaum ways, the western wall of the building was demolished.
