NS 6739 is making its way through Altoona, Pa. It has just defended the Horseshoe Curve (HSC). This train is slowing down so that it can cut the rear SD40E helpers off. With going down the steep grade from Cresson to Altoona, most trains like coal, freight, etc have helpers to either get them up and over or down.
