| NS 153 rumbles past Belton with a worn but welcome D8-40C leading the Linwood, NC to Birmingham, AL manifest. These standard cab Dash 8s are slated for rebuild under the Dash 8.5 rebuild program, where 84 such units will be given new wide-cabs and receive engine upgrades at the railroad's Roanoke Locomotive Shop. |
