| Test run of the new double deck Intercity train "Twindexx Swiss Express" from Bombardier for the SBB. RABe 502 # 203 is running from Stammheim to Seuzach over the single track line Etzwilen-Oberwinterthur (-Winterthur). The SBB ordered 30 of this "IR200" series with 7500 kW and 200 km/h max. velocity. The aluminium carbody are built in Görlitz/Germany, the bogies in Siegen/Germany, electric equipment comes from other works of Bombardier. Completion of the interior of the intermediate cars and commissioning of the whole trainsets are made in Villeneuve/Switzerland. |
