A short hike up the steep slopes of the Oquirrh Mountains yielded this northwesterly view of Tooele Valley, the town of Erda, the Great Salt Lake, and Stansbury Island. An 84 car North Platte to Los Angeles intermodal rambles through the valley, complete with a half dozen Farmer John stock cars, piggyback trailers, and autoracks on Sept. 11, 1993.
