| Late Monday, Amtrak president Boardman launched an office car special to go to the site of the October 5 Vermonter derailment in Northfield, VT and meet with workers and state officials. Amtrak is reportedly covering the cost of the cleanup and is dispatching a hospital train to retreive damaged equipment later this week. The office car special is seen passing the White River Junction, Vermont station with P42DC #109with the Pacific Cape and Beech Grove office cars. |
