| While Michigan may be underwhelming as far as terrain changes, the GLC Northern District from Elmira north definitely goes against the grain. The roar of the locomotive charging the twisting grade of Elmira Hill can be heard several minutes before the train poked around the S curve, and the roar of the 645 prime mover in run 8 bouncing off of the hills for several minutes after was awesome. |
