BNSF 1993, a 36 year old SD40-2, brings a mixed freight into Denver from Commerce City, passing by the Riverside Cemetery. The Burlington Northern veteran shows that it is not yet ready for a similar fate. Established in 1876, Riverside is the oldest cemetery in Colorado and is hallowed ground for more than 67,000 souls.

Some how, these locomotives have managed to last this long with the colors of their previous owners, which have since vanished into history.
