| This sand train is one of the heavier trains I have witnessed climb the Moffat Road. The trains power is distributed 3x3 with the swing DPU just out of sight in a cut to the left of the photo. The train is made up of 73 loaded hoppers, somewhat reminicent of the grain loads the DRGW once ran west out of Denver. The majestic Flatirons rise up and dominate the landscape in the background...... |
