Remarks & Notes |
Newly acquired former FEC nowVTR SD70M-2 432 along with GRMC GP40 305 reverse the Pan Am interchange cars along the scenic Lake Paran Branch near North Bennington Yard on a late September afternoon. An epic battle with a stubborn 'mothership' alien sized cloud ensued just to get a tiny eek ofl sun to splash down for a few seconds. A special thanks to the Iron Man for the gracious ride up and to 'Mayor' Cully for the informative heads up. This is the second run for the big M unit out of Rutland down the Bennington Branch on this local which normally features exclusively four axle power. Meanwhile sister SD70M-2 VTR 431 remains in the shops undergoing additional mechanical work at this writing. |
