| The BLÅ TÅGET (Blue Train) of Skandinaviska Jernbanor from Uppsala to Göteborg is leaving Stockholm Central, pulled by Siemens "Vectron" 193 # 922 of North Rail, subhired to Railpool and rented by Skandinaviska Jernbanor AB (SkJb) (Scandinavian Railways Ltd). The comfortable cars date from the 1960' from Sweden (coach cars) and Germany (restaurant and piano bar cars). The Blue Train is a new classic, and yet fast, train with an elegant fully licensed restaurant carriage and a unique bar carriage with piano and comfortable leather chairs. The journey from Stockholm to Gothenburg is less then 4 hours. |
