Remarks & Notes
Retired snow fighting equipment of the Bergen railway line in the Rallarmuseet (navvies museum) in Norway's highest railway station, Finse, on 1222 meter a.s.l., by night. Four axle diesel rotary snowblower DiR1 # 501 of the NSB from Henschel in Germany, with GM 8-567C diesel motor, built in 1965 and withdrawn in 1997. Behind is sixaxle steampowered rotary snowblower # 4, with 125 ton and built in 1914 by Thunes Verksted and the railway own works, with 4 axle tender. This not self driven steam rotary was in use on the Bergen line from 1914 till 1975. On the far left the former eastern shed of Finse, now the Rallarmuseet.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
