It is 7:30 in the morning and Nickel Plate Railroad S-2 2-8-4 Berkshire No. 765 stretches it's legs getting ready for the work of the day.

No. 765 is one of the finest steam locomotives every built and we are so fortunate that the incredible crew of the Fort Wayne Historical Society and the largess of Norfolk Southern have made this miracle occur for all of us to enjoy.

I first saw this machine in 1988 and the thrill never ends.
