| NP SD45 3617 rests at BNSF's former NP Rices Point yard in Duluth while en route to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, where Monad logos, correct numberboards and horn will be put on. The big EMD is close to being operational and the museum hopes to have it in service next year. The Northern Plains Railroad in North Dakota did the painting and some mechanical work. True to its as-delivered appearance, cab wing windows and an oscillating light in the nose have been installed. Class lights will also be added. |
