With the setting sun, a summer monsoon storm, and four General Electric locomotives working hard; the BNSF Seligman Subdivision can offer some of the most breathtaking views for rail photographers. Just west of Hackberry, along Route 66, a Long Beach, CA to Chicago, IL double-stack train can be heard long before the headlights crest the top of the sag.
Pictures taken with the strong contrast between Rail and Light in Dawn/Dusk/Sunrise or Sunset.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
