Built by Alco in 1941 for the South Buffalo Railway as their 73 then to Fort Howard Paper Company (now Georgia-Pacific - Green Bay Mill) as their 63-146. The museum acquired the engine in 2006 and painted it two years ago in Great Northern colors with the number 11 after GN's own S2 fleet Nos. 1-10. The long open air passenger car behind 11 was a former missile transport car for the Air Force.
