National Railway Equipment in Silvis, IL completed the new Rock Island 1275 last week. Iowa Interstate's Rock Island heritage was at NRE for wheel work and the pair were put together for a few photos.
While the new 1275 isn't completely accurate, it looks pretty dang sharp! The Eldon, IA depot museum is going to be very proud to have this on display in front of the depot.
