| They call it "The Slide", a 1/4 mile long 3.2% grade making up elevation from Tilford Yard to the W&A Mainline. Used almost exclusively by inbound trains, only the lightest trains will take the shortcut up the slide. Even with ample power, Y125 was crawling and getting the carbon out of the normally aspirated GP38-2! |
