Chicago & North Western C40-8 No. 8573 leads a Salt Lake City, Utah to Stockton, California stack train out of North Yard on August 5, 1995. The 4000 horsepower unit was built by GE for the CNW in Sept. 1991. By June 1997 it would become Union Pacific C41-8 No. 9085. After retirement from the active UP roster, it received a fresh coat of Canadian National Railway paint becoming CN C40-8 No. 2120.
